OG Kush Seeds for Sale: Buying Guide for 2025

Buy OG Kush seeds from a US-facing breeder or seed bank that names the breeder, publishes lab data, and states the seed type (feminized, regular, or autoflowering) on the product page. Expect a three to ten seed pack to cost about $30 to $120, with feminized and autoflowering versions at the higher end. Skip any listing that hides the breeder, promises 30 percent THC, or will not show a germination policy before checkout.

What should you verify before you buy OG Kush seeds?

• Breeder name and the specific cut used, such as an S1 of the original OG Kush clone.
• Seed type and pack size, so you can work out price per seed.
• Flowering time, listed at 8 to 10 weeks for photoperiod OG Kush.
• THC range, reported between 19 and 26 percent for the clone-only cut.
• Shipping origin, and whether the seller ships from inside the United States.
• Replacement or refund policy for seeds that fail to germinate.
• Harvest date or pack date, since germination rates drop after two years in poor storage.

Feminized, regular, or autoflowering OG Kush?

Feminized seeds are the default for home growers because almost every plant becomes female, so you do not pay to grow males. Regular seeds cost less per seed and give you pollen for breeding, but about half the plants will be male. Autoflowering OG Kush finishes 10 to 12 weeks from sprout on any light schedule and stays short, which suits small tents and short outdoor seasons but lowers yield.

How much do OG Kush seeds cost in the US?

Budget packs from bulk white-label sellers sell for $20 to $50, and single seeds often run $8 to $15. Established breeders charge $60 to $150 per pack, while rare cuts, S1 lines, and verified clone-lineage packs can pass $200. A high price does not prove authenticity, but a price far below the market points to renamed bulk seed.

Is OG Kush a sativa or an indica?

Most strain databases describe OG Kush as an indica-dominant hybrid near 55 percent indica and 45 percent sativa, with a fuel and citrus aroma profile. Lineage records commonly list it as a cross involving Chemdawg and a Hindu Kush line, though the exact parentage is disputed. Judge the breeder's own description of the cut they used rather than the label alone.

What are the biggest pitfalls when buying OG Kush seeds?

1. White-label seed sold under a famous strain name with no breeder credit.
2. Autoflower listings that claim 30 percent THC, which auto genetics do not reach.
3. Sellers who will not disclose the state they ship from or offer tracking.
4. Photos stolen from other seed banks, a sign of a drop-ship listing.
5. No stated germination guarantee, leaving you with dead seed and no recourse.
6. Ignoring local cultivation law because the seed itself was legal to order.

Are OG Kush seeds legal to buy in the United States?

Under the 2018 Farm Bill, cannabis seed testing at or below 0.3 percent THC is handled as hemp and can move across state lines as a legal agricultural product. Germinating that seed is a separate matter, and several states restrict home cultivation. Confirm your state's cannabis or hemp rules before you plant anything.

Which seller details matter most at checkout?

Look for discreet packaging, tracked shipping from a US address, and a payment method you can dispute if the order never lands. Read recent reviews for germination rates on the specific OG Kush listing, not for the store overall. Store delivered seed in a cool, dark, airtight container and plant within a year for the best germ rates.
