Factors Affecting Plant Density

When determining the number of autoflowering plants per square foot, several factors come into play:

• Size of the Container: Larger containers can accommodate more plants, allowing for better root development and air circulation.
• Lighting System: The intensity and coverage of your lighting system will influence how many plants you can grow per square foot.
• Airflow: Proper ventilation is crucial for healthy plant growth and reducing the risk of mold and pests.

Optimal Plant Density

As a general guideline, a density of 1-2 plants per square foot is recommended for optimal growth and yield. This allows for sufficient space for each plant to develop without overcrowding.
