Glass beats plastic, and the reason is simple
Plastic is porous on a molecular level, so air creeps through it. It also builds a static charge that pulls trichomes off the surface, and trichomes are where the good stuff lives. Silicone is worse. It absorbs terpenes, and once it does, it holds that smell forever. Metal tins are for shipping, not storage. Glass is inert.
