How a dry herb pod system works
- Grind. Medium grind, about the texture of coarse salt. Fine dust clogs vents. Large chunks leave air gaps.
- Fill. A pod holds about 0.1 g to 0.2 g. A full oven holds about 0.25 g to 0.5 g.
- Load. The pod slides into the chamber. The lid faces the airflow path.
- Heat. The heater warms the chamber to 315°F to 430°F (157°C to 221°C). THC vaporizes at about 315°F. CBD vaporizes at about 320°F to 356°F. Terpenes vaporize from 310°F to 400°F. Plant material combusts near 450°F, so vapor forms well below smoke.

Cleaning a dry herb pod system
Empty pods while they are still warm. Resin hardens as it cools and sticks to screens. Brush the screens and oven after each session. Soak metal pods, screens, and mouthpieces in 91% isopropyl alcohol for 20 to 30 minutes, then rinse with water and let them dry. Do not soak batteries, wood parts, or plastic that clouds on contact. Replace screens when airflow drops and cleaning stops helping.
