cannabis loyalty program points

Cannabis loyalty program points are rewards you earn when you shop at a participating dispensary, usually based on how much you spend or which products you buy. They can typically be redeemed for discounts, merchandise, or future purchases, depending on the store’s rules. Because cannabis is regulated state by state, points programs vary widely by retailer and location.

Program Details and Specs

Most cannabis loyalty programs use a digital profile linked to your ID and purchase history. Earning rates, point values, expiration windows, and redemption minimums are set by each dispensary and can change with state regulations or store promotions. Some programs offer tiered benefits, while others keep points simple and flexible. Always confirm the current terms with the retailer, because points may not apply to certain discounted items, taxes, or delivery fees.

Do Points Expire?

Yes, many programs set an expiration period, such as a certain number of months after your last purchase or after the points are earned. Check your member account or ask the dispensary for the exact expiration policy.

What About Shipping and Returns?

Points are usually tied to completed purchases, so if an item is returned or an order is canceled, the related points may be reversed. Shipping and delivery options vary by state and retailer; returns are generally handled according to local cannabis regulations and store policy.

Can You Share or Transfer Points?

Usually no. Most cannabis loyalty points are non-transferable and linked to the individual member account. Some programs allow household members to share perks, but that depends on the dispensary’s rules.
