boveda vs integra for weed storage

For most home growers and casual tokers, Boveda is the simpler first pick for weed storage: it is easy to find, comes in multiple humidity levels, and takes the guesswork out of keeping jars in the sweet spot. Integra is a close second and a smart option when you want a different pack format or a slightly different moisture target. Both are two-way humidity control packs, so the real choice comes down to availability, jar size, and how much curing control you want.

How to Store Cannabis Without a Humidity Pack: A Simple Guide

Key Features

ideal humidity for curing cannabis

• Boveda packs are two-way humidity controllers that add or absorb moisture to hold a set RH.
• Integra packs also provide two-way humidity control and are a popular alternative for terpene-conscious storage.
• Both brands offer packs sized for small jars, medium containers, and larger storage bins.
• Boveda is widely stocked in cannabis shops and easy to swap when a pack dries out.
• Integra packs use a different moisture formula and may appeal if you prefer a specific RH level.
• Neither brand replaces proper burping, clean jars, or a dark, cool storage spot.
• Choose pack size by container volume and headspace, not by flower weight alone.

Materials and specs matter here. Boveda packs use a saturated salt solution inside a semi-permeable membrane; Integra packs use a similar two-way system with a different formulation. Both come in humidity levels around 55% to 69% RH, with 62% being the most common target for cured flower. Match the pack to your container: a small 4 g or 8 g pack suits a 1-quart jar, while larger 67 g or 320 g packs are better for bigger bins. Do not mix brands in the same jar, and replace packs when they become stiff or dry.
